Conflicts of Today
So as a part of this project, I'm gonna have to analyse the causes of some of the CURRENT WARS AND CONFLICTS OF TODAY to compare them with the causes of World War I and World War II. But you know, there are quite a lot of wars and conflicts going on right now, so imma pick three.
But the major conflicts that I've picked here are ones in which more than a thousand people have died, involves more than one nation (for internal conflicts) or more than two nations (for international conflicts), and have the potential to turn into a multi-national regional conflict. [44] The ones imma pick are gonna be the Mexican Drug War, The War on Terror and the Somali Civil War.
The Mexican Drug War:
This conflict is an ONGOING armed dissension between rival drug cartels (or you know, suppliers) who fight each other for regional control and the Mexican government trying to combat drug trafficking. [45]
But what caused this is not about the drugs. It's not about gang or cartel territory. It's not about Mexico or Colombia's lack of internal security (and honesty) or the United States' War on Terrorism or Drugs. But it's about globalism and elitism. The people who pull the strings. There are people who profit from war, famine, genocide, drug and human trafficking, and collapsing economies and governments. People who egg on and incite civil and societal unrest, disobedience and revolts. [46]
So there you have it folks, the first of the three. NEXT ONE:
The War on Terror
I'm sure everyone knows of the war on Terror. The phrase "War on Terror" has been used to specifically refer to the ongoing military campaign led by the United States and their allies against organizations and regimes identified by them as terrorist. [47] Nationalism. Pretty much caused from nationalism, pretty sure.
The Somali Civil War
Former UN Secretary General Boutros Boutros Ghali and Ahmedou Ould Abdallah, UN special envoy to Somalia [48] have referred to the killing of civilians in the Somalian Civil War as a "genocide", and the Genocide Intervention Network lists Somalia as an area of concern. [49] THE STATE OF ANARCHY. DEFINITELY.

I hope I've answered your questions (if you have any) about the current conflicts of today. If you think I haven't, or think that I should add something, do it here. :)
